GUEST SENSEI BRANDON WILLIAMSCRAIG – AIKIDO 2.0

I’m delighted to welcome guest sensei Brandon WilliamsCraig this Wednesday to take us through his fascinating new approach to Aikido.
He says: Aikido principles applied beyond the mat is an area of study treated like an add-on or distraction rather than as an essential level of traditional training which is immediately available given the right method and curriculum.
With the support of Association Building Community, we’d like to propose a next phase for the Art of Peace…Aikido 2.0.
Begin with traditional aikido body movement learned in silence, but incorporate language and thought explicitly, on the mat, as soon as the basic movements are in place.
That last bit is what Aikido 2.0 is all about. And the method and curriculum are what I provide under the name Conflict Done Well. For more visit this link: http://culturesmith.com/Why_Call_It_Aikido_2_0.
You don’t even need to be an aikido practitioner to begin this work.
5.50 – 7.00 pm GMT Wednesday 3rd March.
Beginners welcome. Wear loose-fitting clothing for ease of movement.
